A student organization dedicated to both the leadership and character development of our members, and the happiness and well-being of those in the Cincinnati community. Every student in our organization has been blessed with the chance for an education, friends and a successful future. We are committed to giving back and helping others improve financially, emotionally and physically.
You may be thinking, "So, what exactly makes Rotaract different from the other 100's of service organizations?" Well, here are some reasons:
1. Rotaract is recognized worldwide as a professional community service organization geared towards college students. At the end of the year, you are presented with an official member pin and certificate.
2. We are not an "in and out" service organization that hops around to service events and never returns. We focus on developing long-lasting relationships with those we serve on a regular basis. Our vision is a Cincinnati community more intertwined with UC students!
3. Rotaract clubs are worldwide, so our organization is committed to 2 projects a year which benefit other cultures overseas, especially in Africa. Starting in 2015, we will begin a pen-pal program with a Rotaract organization in Germany!
4. We offer a mentorship program which connects a student with a Rotarian who is currently in a position that the student wishes to pursue.
5. Want to do more than just be another volunteer? We strongly encourage our members to step up and lead a project or weekly service event (service captain) so YOU can lead and inspire OTHERS to stay committed.
